In your company overview, you will detail the type of trucking business you are operating.<\/p>\n

For example, you might operate one of the following types:<\/p>\n

  1. For Hire Truckload Carriers: in this type of trucking business you haul other companies\u2019 freight.<\/li>\n
  2. Less Than Truckload Carriers: in this type of business, as the name implies, you haul products that don\u2019t take up a full truckload.<\/li>\n
  3. Household Movers: these trucking companies primarily handle household moves and may also handle commercial relocation trucking services.<\/li>\n
  4. Inter-Modal: Inter-modal trucking is when you haul rail containers to and from rail yards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition to explaining the type of trucking business you operate, the Company Analysis section of your business plan needs to provide background on the business.<\/p>\n
